Tip 2. Eat a quarter of what you normally eat on fasting days
You can, but you don't have to eat rigorously on the days you are fasting. Fasting with a calorie restriction is advisable, especially if you have no or limited experience with fasting. Take 25 percent of your calorie needs on your fasting days. This also reduces the risk of fainting, having less concentration or being too tired during the day to function properly.
Tip 3. drink enough
You get 20 to 30 percent of the required moisture from your diet. If that nutrition is largely gone, then you have to pay extra attention to your fluid intake. Drinking between 2 and 3 liters of fluid per day during a fasting day is recommended.
