5 tips to start and keep up with sports at home

1. Wat goed dat je wilt beginnen met sporten! Voordat je roept dat er ’tien kilo vanaf moet’, realiseer je dan dat dit niet vanzelf gaat en ook niet binnen een week. Stel je zelf een realistisch doel. Probeer met kleine doelen te beginnen, bijvoorbeeld: ‘Aan het einde van de maand wil ik 1 minuut achter elkaar kunnen planken’, of ‘Over een maand wil ik 20 push ups achter elkaar kunnen maken’. Wanneer je dit doel binnen een maand bereikt hebt, kun je voor een volgend doel gaan en ben je waarschijnlijk juist gemotiveerder om te blijven sporten!

4. Do you find it difficult to keep your sports appointment, because no one is counting on you anyway? Then find a training buddy. Training together with someone is much more motivating and is also a lot more fun than training alone at home. You can also correct each other when an exercise is not performed properly. Agree on a day and time together and stick to it.
