The past few days have been super hectic with the sale of the parental home in Tucson, USA. In this hectic pace I had absolutely no need for alcohol or anything, just to be fit and to keep thinking and acting clearly. Due to the 9-hour time difference, the telephone conversations and e-mails often started in the evening.
It may sound strange, but in December I found dry white wine to taste more and more creamy and not tasty. I often opted for a bubble back then. Now alcohol is so far in the background. I am very happy with this challenge and also with the support of 'IkPas'. The first weeks I had to get used to, and Dry January was actually easier for me than I initially thought. Now that we are in the end of March with this challenge, it gives me a boost to continue. I love being fit and slim, I really want to keep it that way. I associate zero alcohol with a very positive attitude to life.
Easter is coming, cozy with all the children and my mother who enjoys all the grandchildren. I'm already immersed in the flowers and recipes. Delicious!! Of course I also buy bubbles for the Fam, with a lot of 0/0 Freixenet. I wouldn't be surprised if we all start doing a zero bubble.
Good luck to everyone with the last 40 days not a drop! days and especially very nice Easter days!!
