This is Jacqueline

I am Jacqueline van der Laan, 53 years old, married to Antoine and mother of a daughter of 21 years. I work full-time at Sparkles in Zeist, the best company in the Central Netherlands. There I am involved in customer service and hospitality, which means I have a lot of contact with people; customers, guests, visitors, applicants, etc. Sports is my lifeline! If I don't exercise for a week, I already get grumpy 😉 As a child I did gymnastics and from the age of 12 I regularly run. I have already participated in many organized runs such as half marathons and the 7 hill run. Because I signed up for the Rotterdam Marathon, I decided not to drink for 40 days. I am a real Burgundian. Love good food and that includes a good glass of wine. I now leave those wines and exchanged them for liters of water 😉 I now have no qualms about turning down alcohol, and I feel fitter than ever. I am a busy bee and rarely sit still. I like to help others and regularly look up challenging things, such as a mud run or a trail run. Hence my registration for the Rotterdam Marathon and my offer to blog and/or vlog for 40 days not a drop.
