Relax during your pregnancy
Before you were pregnant, you may have had a glass of alcohol to relax. After a busy day or a pleasant outing with friends, a glass of wine or something was added. Now that you're pregnant, you don't drink and you still want to relax. How do you do that? Read on quick.
Stress and busyness are not good for you and your baby. It is therefore important to relax regularly. And not with a drink, because alcohol is not good for the development of your baby. Fortunately, there are many other ways to relax. Such as a warm shower or an extensive bathing session.
Have a cup of tea?
With a warm bath or a nice shower you can rinse off the stress of that day. It is also a moment to be aware of your baby in your belly. Connect, talk to your child and listen to your favorite music in the meantime. Or read a book in the bath. A cup of tea and a book will complete your relaxing moment!
Massage please
After an extensive bath or shower session, a massage is required. Lubricate yourself with skin oil. As icing on the cake, ask your partner to massage your back and/or feet. Can he or she refuse? Because you are pregnant ; †
Tip: Now that you are pregnant, very warm bath water (39 degrees or more) is not recommended. This is due to the risk of overheating. Make sure the bath water is lukewarm (below 39 degrees) and do not stay in the bath for too long. Between 10 and 20 minutes is fine.
