I'm still alcohol-free and I like that. I now turn to other tasty drinks, such as this one I recently discovered and made…how delicious and fresh! Ideal for the summer. Here's the recipe:
Lemon & lime ginger lemonade (10 min. – 4 persons)
3 lemons
3 limes
4 tbsp. ginger syrup
8 ice cubes
6 thin slices of ginger
3 sprigs of mint
400ml. chilled sparkling mineral water and a 1 liter pitcher
Squeeze 2 lemons and 2 limes. Scrub the other lemon and lime clean and cut into pieces. Put the juice and the lemon and lime pieces with the ginger syrup in the pitcher. Add the ice cubes, ginger and sprigs of mint. Pour in the mineral water and serve immediately.
Tip: replace the syrup and ginger with strawberry syrup and fresh strawberries.

My favourite? Ginger beer from Fentimans of Fevertree. Nice and spicy and delicious with a little ice cream.

Hot water with 4 slices of ginger and a slice of orange. Add a pestle, possibly some honey and enjoy. Letting it cool and serving with ice cubes is also a good alternative.
