Nice weekend recipe: tower of apple and brie

Fast food: we all go for the ax from time to time. Whether you've got a soft spot for burgers from the big yellow M or lick your fingers at a bucket full of chicken wings, we know the way to our favorite quick bite without too much trouble. Afterwards we often feel well a little guilty. Good news: snacking can actually be healthy. With this recipe from Nora French put a tasty and healthy snack on the table within half an hour.

Ingredients

2 apples

150 g brie

Handful of walnuts

2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

kitchen helper

Oven dish, baking paper, apple corer and 4 skewers

Preparation method

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Wash the apples (do not peel) and cut the bottom of the apple from the bottom so that it stands firm. Cut the apple into 5 slices and remove the core per slice using the apple corer. Don't have an apple corer? Then use a paring knife.

Cut the brie into slices and roughly chop half of the walnuts. Stack the apple and place 2 slices of brie and a few pieces of walnut between each slice. Secure the apple tower with two skewers by piercing them vertically through the apple slices from above.

Place the apples in the baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with remaining walnuts.
