Wild Mild Water
Ingredients for 1 carafe.
- Sorrel 10 leaves
- Cucumber 3 slats
- Honey tomatoes 4 pieces
- 1 liter tap water
Preparation:
• Pick and wash the sorrel leaves, save the stem.
• Roll up half of the sorrel leaves together into a bundle, crush them carefully with the back of a knife and then prick the handle through the sorrel twig.
•Wash the cucumber and remove 3 nice long slats from the cucumber with a vegetable peeler or cheese slicer.
†Wash and cut the tomatoes in half.
†Fill the carafe with the cucumber slats, honey tomatoes, rolled sorrel and finally the sorrel leaves.
• Add some ice cubes and fill the carafe with cold tap water
Tip:
Instead of honey tomatoes, you can also use a mix of mini tomatoes in the colors yellow, green and red. That makes for a nice color accent.
